| 摘要 | The dendrochirote and dactylochirote holothurian fauna of China is now known to comprise 56 species in 16 genera. An annotated checklist of species is included here. Eight species are described as new: Actinocucumis chinensis, Phyllophorus (Phyllothuria) donghaiensis, P. (Isophyllophorus) orientalis, Neothyonidium spiniferum, Stolus crassus, S. micronodosus, Thyone purpureopunctata and T. sinensis. Phyllophorus (Isophyllophorus), a new subgenus, is also diagnosed. Preliminary analysis reveals that affinities of the dendrochirote/dactylochirote fauna lie with the tropical Indo-West-Pacific, for approximately 70% of the species are more or less widely distributed in the Indo-West-Pacific. Ten species are now known from the Yellow Sea, 26 from the East China Sea, and 39 from the South China Sea. |
