摘要 | The development of environmentally friendly and sustainable methods for the exfoliation of nanosheets is of paramount importance in the field of nanotechnology. In this study, high-quality mica nanosheets (MNs) were prepared through a seawater-based liquid-phase exfoliation process that utilized ions intercalation for the first time. The morphological characteristics of the MNs were extensively characterized using various analytical techniques, such as field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and atomic force microscopy. Further analysis using X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and Raman spectroscopy confirmed the structural integrity and stability of the obtained MNs. Additionally, this work investigated the impact of reaction time, temperature, cycle number, and initial concentration on the production rate of MNs. Overall, this study highlights the potential of natural seawater as an effective solvent for the efficient exfoliation of high-quality MNs. |
