摘要Platinum-group elements (PGE) had long been considered as immobile elements, which is commonly used to trace the mantle source and the evolution of ultra-mafic and mafic magmas. However, increasing field observations and high-temperature and high-pressure experiments suggested that PGE might be mobile in hydrothermal fluids, displaying a potential significant contribution to petrogenesis, mineralization, and mantle metasomatism associated with ultra-mafic and mafic magmas. In this paper, field observations regarding PGE mobility in hydrothermal fluids, as well as high-temperature and high-pressure experiments and thermodynamic simulations, were reviewed. A lots of geological records showed that the mineralization of PGE is associated with hydrothermal fluids. The enrichment and mineralization of PGE could be formed by hydrothermal superposition in late magmatic stage and hydrothermal events in the ocean or basin. Experimental results showed that the solubility of PGE is up to 100n x 10(-6) in the Cl-rich fluids, several orders of magnitude higher than that in the HS-rich fluids. More importantly, previous studies demonstrated that the PGE can be transported and concentrated in hydrothermal fluids in the form of complexes, involving in major inorganic anions such as Cl-, HS-, OH-, and NH3. It was also demonstrated that the stabilities of these complexes or anion radicals were dependent on temperature, oxygen fugacity, anion concentration and pH of the fluid systems. Thereinto, PGE-Cl species most likely play a key role on the PGE migration in the shallow crust, because they are stable on the conditions of moderately low temperatures (< 300 degrees C) , high salinity, high oxygen fugacity, high Cl - concentration, and acidic fluids. By contrast, PGE-HS species are predominant in the hydrothermal fluids of reductive, alkali, high sulfur fugacity, and medium to low temperatures. In the high-temperature and alkali fluids PGE-OH species are commonly observed. Compared to other species, PGE-NH3 species, stable in relatively low temperature, moderately alkali and relatively low oxygen fugacity environments, probably contribute less to the PGE migration. Though considerable efforts have been made to enhance our understanding of the PGE mobility in fluids, a few important problems remain to be solved, such as the distribution behavior of PGE between minerals, fluids and melts, and the evaluation of solubility and complexation ability for PGE in hydrothermal fluids, which were discussed on the final section in this paper.
